Description
This beautiful cannister depicts the carrousel which has been located in Hershey Park since 1919. It replaced the original which had been in the park since 1912. The carrousel, built by the Philadlephia Tboggan Company, is made entirely of wood. There are 99 horses. 42 move up and down, and two chariots. It was completely refurbished and repainted by hand in 1991.
These cannisters were made in 1996 to commemorate this carrousel.
