Wormwood Herb helps protect cells from oxidative damage. It is a perennial flower found throughout Europe, Siberia and North America with references to its use appearing as early as the Bible.
Calendula Flower may help ease discomfort caused by temporary skin irritation. The common marigold, native to southern Europe, its use dates back at least to the 15th century.
Chickweed is used topically to soothe and cool temporary skin irritations. A ubiquitous wild flower that has been described in writings dating back to 2100 B.C., it has been used across the globe by ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians, as well as Indians and Chinese.
Burdock Root is anemollient and mildly astringent antimicrobial that provides antioxidant properties from Phenolic Acids, Quercetin and Luteolin. It can be found around the world in countries located in the Northern Hemisphere.
Comfrey Leaf is emollient and astringent, and helps soothe and dry temporary skin irritations. It is native to Europe and temperate regions of Asia. Its written history dates back to the ancient Greeks who thought it had been in use for at least 2000 years; some European writers believed from the time of the Garden of Eden.
Lavender Flower and Essential Oil helps reduce oxidative stress. Native to the Mediterranean, is from an aromatic evergreen that was widely introduced into Europe and North America.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil promotes normal skin flora. It is from a tree indigenous to Australia, now found in North and South Africa, India, and Southern Europe, that was traditionally used as an antiseptic.
Mullein Leaf is emollient and moisturizing, but also mildly astringent. It is a widely distributed wild flower originating throughout Europe and in temperate Asia.
Yarrow Flower is used as an astringent. It is a flower in the daisy family that is common throughout Europe.
Dandelion Root is used as an astringent and has antioxidant properties. Dandelion Essential Oils provide cleansing, soothing, emollient support of skin circulation. It is acommon weed that originated in temperate regions of the northern hemisphere, with use dating back to tenth and eleventh century Arabians.
Citronella Oil soothing topical emollient, that also helps preserve normal microbial populations on the skin. It is classified by the Environmental Protection Agency as a biopesticide.
Peppermint Leaf and Essential Oil produces a soothing, cooling sensation while also acting as a mild counter-irritant to support good blood flow to the skin.
Penny Royal: Like its cousin Peppermint, Penny Royal Oil produces a cooling sensation while simultaneously supporting skin circulation.
