Royal Padded Hock Boots Deluxe w/Holes are flexible and easy to use, now in a new stylish design. Our hock boots have always been a fan favorite and this new design is sure to please. Great care and functional design elements have been incorporated to help ensure a more protective, anatomically correct fit.
The padded hock boots have a thick inner pad with soft edges for the best possible comfort. The outer casing has an improved oblong opening over the point of the hock to optimize performance and comfort while helping to avoid the boot from sliding down. The top edge of the outer casing has upward-designed rounded edges to avoid tendon pressure. Equipped with three hook and loop straps, the middle one is designed with a two-piece elastic band to avoid pressure on the joint. The inner pad can easily be removed for washing and cleaning.
The inner padding features our well-known Welltex® proprietary technology, which can help relieve swelling, stiffness, soreness, and other problems affecting the tendons, joints, and ligaments. Here at Half Circle Ranch we pride ourselves on our halters. The fit, the construction of the rope, our fabulous colors. We are very proud of the halters we offer! Our halters are made from 1/4″ polyester rope. Our soft halters are made from a double braid rope- think of your favorite ‘Savvy’ clinician, these are the halters he chooses. They’re light weight, but have lots of body and ‘feel’. Soft rope halters will have a stitched fiador knot, and the ends will be spliced together. Our stiff halters are made from a firm, 1/4″ polyester accessory cord. It is a much firmer bodied rope than the soft cord- it will hold it’s shape all on it’s own, and this halter will stand up on a table by itself, where the soft will not. Great for getting a horses attention, great for training- and just all around easy to use. These will not be as stiff as your favorite Aussie clinicians halters- but they’re in that vicinity.
This rope was designed especially for Half Circle Ranch. It is a 9/16″ double braid polyester rope with a 24 carrier cover- this rope was built according to the cordage institutes standards for rope, and it’s size is the same as the rope used by CA and PP. This rope has great body and feel- it’s a lovely rope, and comes in a plethora of fabulous colors. This lead comes finished with an eye splice- you can hook it directly to your halter, or you have the option to use hardware. The tail end of the lead is backspliced, which weights it, giving it that desirable feel and balance.
