    COVID-19 and inflation has hit non-profit organizations hard these past few years, making it difficult for them to have the funds, supplies, and equipment they require to meet the needs of the animals. Becky’s Gift and Upreach Therapeutic Riding Center are both 501c3 organizations that benefit animals and people in various ways. They provide joy, peace, and possibility to the lives within their care.

    The Trainer’s Loft has committed to making a difference for these organizations this holiday season. Visit our tack store and purchase an ornament off of the tree. Each ornament has monetary amounts starting at $2. We’re hoping to exceed last year’s total of $1,500 which will be used to buy items they need. Check out our sliding scale in-store to track our progress and hopefully exceed our goal. We thank you for helping us make a difference for the animals and those who care for them.     Handmade leadlines and long lines made from 1/2″, 5/16″, or 3/8″ yacht rope. Available in a number of colors. Please contact us to find out what colors are available in which rope diameter.

    All lines are handmade. Please allow 5-14 days for shipment.

    Leadlines are made with spliced ends. One end has a black or brown leather popper.  The other end has a loop that you can directly attach to your halter.

    Connection Keepers

    Connection Keepers are a rope connector to be used any place you might otherwise use a metal snap (reins, lead rope etc.). This is an advancing piece of equipment to keep communication light between horse and human. The keeper has a rope frame and a sliding knot lock to secure the connector in place. Made of premium quality yachting rope, these connectors are both attractive and secure. The colors offer a great way to identify your equipment in a barn or clinic or to identify different rope choices.
