Myler 2 Ring Combination Bit MB04, L2
$229.95The MB 04 is similar to the MB 02 in that it will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure, however, it has a small (ยผ”) port that introduces some tongue relief to the horse. The port allows the horse to swallow and move his tongue when he is moving forward and relaxed, which acts as a release or reward. The mouthpiece is curved, and it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.

$159.95The MB 02 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 02 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movementโข.

Myler Medium Baucher, MB 33 Low Medium Wide Ported Barrel, Level 3
$117.95The MB 33 is the mildest Myler mouthpiece in terms of tongue pressure. The generously wide port allows room for the tongue to pass almost completely under the bit. Because this mouthpiece does not rotate on to the tongue and the port is wide, it applies little to no tongue pressure, working primarily off the lips and bars. The port on this mouthpiece is only 1 ยฝ” high, so it will apply little to no palate pressure. Because the MB 33 offers such a high degree of tongue relief, the horse that goes well in this mouthpiece has a trustworthy and consistent disposition, and is trained to work off the leg and seat as well as the hands.

Myler Loose Ring Wide Low Ported Barrel MB 33 WL
$121.95The MB 33WL (wide low) mouthpiece was made specifically to meet the requirements of the USEF dressage rules, making this the only USEF dressage legal Level 3 mouthpiece. The port is 29mm high and generously wide, providing ample room for the tongue. Because the port is lower than the standard MB 33, the MB 33WL does not offer quite as much tongue relief but it is by far the most tongue relief available in a dressage legal mouthpiece.
