The Original Lip Butterโข is made from an all-natural formula and modified it for use as a luscious lip butter for equestrians. The unique blend of natural oils and butters will delight the Rider’s mouth.
This is a slightly “waxier” formulation than I usually make, since this is intended for allover use for Winter Dry Skin and similar afflictions.ย Therefore, I made it with a palm oil component, and the infused oil is calendula, used since antiquity to calm down outraged skin.ย A little still goes a long way, but this does come in a slightly larger jar.
We have made Crafty Ponies bridle as similar to a real bridle as we can with headpiece, throatlash, browband, cheekpieces, noseband, reins, and a loose ring snaffle bit.
It is made from double sided leatherette for strength and durability.
There are poppers where there are billets on a real bridle to show children that some fittings face the pony and buckles face away from the pony.
Crafty Ponies black synthetic leather saddle has all the parts of a real saddle including stirrups and stirrup leathers, stirrup bars, girth straps, girth, saddle flap, panel and seat.
A numnah (contoured saddle pad) is included to make saddling up even more realistic and the instructional booklet helps children to learn about saddles.
Horsemanship of every kind depends on mutual interaction between equine and human brains. When we understand the function of both, we can learn to communicate with horses on their terms instead of ours. And, by meeting horses halfway, we not only save valuable training time and improve performance, we achieve other goals, too. We develop much deeper bonds with our horses; we handle them with insight and kindness instead of force or command; we comprehend their misbehavior in ways that allow solutions; and we reduce the human mistakes we often make while working with them. In this illuminating book, brain scientist and horsewoman Janet Jones describes human and equine brains working together. Using plain language, she explores the differences and similarities between equine and human ways of negotiating the world. Mental abilitiesโlike seeing, learning, fearing, trusting, and focusingโare discussed from both human and horse perspectives. Throughout, true stories of horses and handlers attempting to understand each otherโsometimes successfully, sometimes notโhelp to illustrate the principles.
