The Breyer Running Mare is a classic model horse sculpted by Chris Hess, first introduced circa 1961. Recognized by its various mold stamp changes over the decades, it features the round “Breyer Molding Co.” stamp initially, with the “U.S.A.” and sometimes “B” stamps added in 1970. The mold’s eye design evolved notably from 1983 to 1994, distinguishing pre- and post-1983 editions.

This particular model is a used collectible offered in excellent condition, showing two small white spots located on the belly and right shoulder. It no longer includes the original box but remains a valuable item for collectors due to its detailed craftsmanship and history.
