The exclusive “Schrumpfleder’ leather offers a grippy surface to hold the rider firmly to the saddle. This leather’s natural grain is the result of a special tanning process. This hand- selected pre-shrunk leather is water repellent. Flaps and jockeys are doubled, lined with supple calfskin. The narrow twist, the low pommel and the recessed safety stirrup bars are part of the great features offered by our world famous “Federbaum” spring tree. Available in varied tree widths to fit any breed of horse. Three pairs of extra-strong chrome billets can be found between the mildew resistant sweat flaps and the rich textured padded flaps. The 100% WOOL-FLOCKED panels mold to the horse’s back for excellent fit, proper weight distribution and back protection.
