16″ seat as measured from front to back as though for a Western saddle.

Gullet measures 6″ – fits like an English saddle, so that is considered a wide fit.

This saddle would fit a wide horse with a broad wither and a somewhat level back. Such as a full bodied QH, mutton-withered Draft or Draft Cross.
