The Breyer Misty and Stormy of Chincoteague models are collectible horse figures inspired by beloved characters from Marguerite Henry’s classic books Misty of Chincoteague and Stormy, Misty’s Foal. These models are sold separately, allowing collectors to choose their preferred figure or add both to their collection.

Features of Breyer Misty and Stormy of Chincoteague

The Misty model, sculpted by Chris Hess and designated as Breyer mold #20, was first introduced in 1972. It features the round “Breyer Molding Co.” and “U.S.A.” mold stamps, often accompanied by the “B” stamp. The Stormy model, also sculpted by Chris Hess and designated as Breyer mold #19, was introduced in 1977 and exhibits similar mold stamps.

Both models are in excellent used condition, making them attractive options for collectors of authentic Breyer models.
