Panacur Paste Equine Dewormer contains 100mg of fenbendazole per gram and is flavored with apple-cinnamon to ensure easy administration. This effective dewormer is formulated to control a wide range of equine parasites, including large and small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, cyathostome larvae, and arteritis caused by larvae of Strongylus vulgaris.

Uses and Dosage of Panacur Paste Equine Dewormer

Administer Panacur Paste orally at a dose of 2.3mg/lb (5mg/kg) to treat large and small strongyles and pinworms. For foals and weanlings, especially where ascarids are common, the recommended dose increases to 4.6mg/lb (10mg/kg). Severe infestations involving encysted third-stage and fourth-stage cyathostome larvae require treatment for five consecutive days at this higher dosage.
