The Trainer’s Loft Giving Tree: Supporting Animals This Holiday Season

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on non-profit organizations, limiting their funds, supplies, and equipment necessary to care for animals. The Trainer’s Loft Giving Tree supports several 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to animal welfare, providing peace, joy, and hope to the animals and people they serve.

The Trainer’s Loft invites customers to visit the tack store and purchase an ornament from the Giving Tree. Ornaments represent donation amounts starting at $5. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to help buy essential items for these sanctuaries. A sliding scale in-store tracks progress and hopes to exceed this target. Your generous support makes a meaningful difference for these animals and their caregivers.

Tomten Farm and Sanctuary

Tomten Farm and Sanctuary is a volunteer-run, donor-funded 501(c)(3) based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Since 2014, they provide rescue, sanctuary, adoption, and education services to more than 50 animals including horses, goats, cows, sheep, pigs, donkeys, cats, and birds. Their mission focuses on responsible and sustainable care, inclusivity, and advocacy to improve animal welfare and human-animal connections.

Becky’s Gift

Becky’s Gift honors the memory of Becky and her Morgan mare Daisy by assisting horse owners facing short-term financial hardships. The foundation helps fund hay, veterinary, and farrier bills, enabling horses to remain with their families. Becky was a dedicated horsewoman and scholar, and this organization reflects her enduring legacy.

Live and Let Live Farm Rehabilitation Rescue and Sanctuary

This animal shelter rescues abused and unwanted horses, pregnant dogs, and cats, offering either temporary or permanent care. When possible, rehabilitated animals are placed in homes; those unadoptable receive lifelong care on the farm.

Upreach Therapeutic Riding Center

Upreach is dedicated to enhancing physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing for individuals with and without disabilities through therapeutic riding programs that harness the healing power of horses.
